You

You have worked all of your life to accumulate capital to be able to retire, to have what you want, and to do as you choose.

I do not know why it is true, but most individuals who work so hard to accumulate investment capital tend to choose to learn about 'investing the hard way' while being advised to invest by the ill-informed and/or the self-serving for the benefit of the ill-informed and/or self-serving or while trying to invest for themselves investing in what appears to be 'investing the easy way.'

Individual investors' failure to perform most often occurs because the conscientious do not know the questions to ask to distinguish between good and bad investment advice, the naïve look for investment shortcuts and instant gratification investment solutions, and the reckless confuse knowing what an investment strategy is and how it can work with being able to make it work successfully.

Unpardonable Investment Advising Error

Don't Let It Happen To You

Ray Lirette, with wife Cheryl and granddaughter Kallie, lost much of their nest egg after trusting a broker who promised big stock returns; $335,000 nest egg shrank to $43,000 over eight years and they were forced back to work, into jobs paying a fraction of what they used to earn; Retire early. If you seek the investment advice of others or are thinking about managing your own capital, I can help you by evaluating proposed or current investments to get you on and keep you on the most effective and efficient investing path; nothing learned the hard way, full disclosure, do it right the first time, investor informed economic best interest investing.

Me

I am not so presumptuous as to suggest that there is but one way to invest in the financial markets; however, I am certain there is a critical path to investing performance excellence; leave out a step proceed with greater than necessary investing risks.

There are many types of investments, investing strategies, and investing tools that are profoundly flawed, fictitious, treacherous, and often predatory. They are the root cause of the creation of many investment portfolios that, by their content and structure, are destined to fail, to disappoint.

Second Opinion Analysis

I would like to help you, when possible, to avoid obvious and potentially fatal investing and investment errors.

I have been a private investor for most of my life and, before retiring, first a stockbroker and then a registered investment advisor for over forty years.

During that time I gained a respect for and a better understanding of the laws and of the dynamics of investment success.

My favorite, most interesting, and most satisfying retirement activity is to help investors avoid unnecessary investment errors and to get them on and keep them on the most effective and efficient investing and investment performance path.

I want to make it clear at the outset that I am not associated with any firm or compensated from any investment vendor.

I do not make firm, stockbroker, investment advisor, or investment vendor recommendations.

My Second Opinion analyses and recommendations are arms length, based on many years of experience, and designed for investors not traders.

When I feel that there are better investment options for you other than what you currently have or are considering, the recommendations will be specific, the reasons will be clearly explained, and will be detailed in your personal and private report.

My other endeavor is mhj3.com which is primarily directed toward investment advisors. I created the website years ago as a means for me to continue to help those investment advisors who are tired of, as I first was many years ago, Wall Streets' continuance of self-serving investment merchandising at the expense of intelligent investment advising to serve investors who have worked many years to save and to accumulate investment capital.

Should you have any questions about what you are presently doing to invest or should you have any concerns about the investment advice you are currently receiving, I would enjoy the opportunity to give you a second opinion about your investment plan and your investments; existing or proposed.

My Second Opinion analysis will take several investment outcome determinative variable categories into consideration when an investment plan, investments, and investment portfolio are reviewed; the structural integrity, competitiveness, and efficiency of specific investments and the overall investment portfolio in view of the investor's investment profile; investment objectives, risk tolerances, income/capital growth requirements, investment time horizon, current market conditions, and the market outlook.

Getting Started

Simply go to Contact Us/Comments @ mhj3.com.

I will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time for an initial discovery conversation.

I will request some investment information from you; investment profile, investment objectives, investment time horizon, current or recommended investments.

I will review the information you send me in terms of the merits of the specific investments you have or are considering in the context of my investment analysis criteria as briefly described above.

I will contact you to discuss my Second Opinion fees.

Each situation is unique and each situation requires different amounts of time for review.

The cost of most Second Opinion analyses is $300.00.

  • Many second Opinion analyses cost less than $300.00 because, frankly, I often see the same or very similar investment problems and, unfortunately, the same or very similar investment solutions recommended to investors with very different investment profiles and investment objectives.
  • Just a few Second Opinion analyses have cost more; again, because of the time involved and because of the complexity of the situation.

  • I will tell you what the Second Opinion fee will be and we will agree on the fee before I start.

  • 50% of the fee is payable in advance, with the balance due upon completion of the analysis, your review of it, and your satisfaction with it.

  • I guarantee that the fee charged will be less than the net savings that I can demonstrate to you in specifics and in detail, with your complete understanding and agreement, that will, in fact, be achieved by following my suggestions regardless of the initial fee agreed upon.

  • There is no fee should your current investments or investments under consideration pass my evaluation.

  • There is no fee should you conclude that my recommendations for you are of no value to you.

Upon completion of my Second Opinion, it will be sent to you for initial review, and, again, I will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time to discuss my analysis and to answer questions that you may have.
