Individual Account Excel Import Click on '+' @ Investment Detail and Performance tab. Click on Import Data icon @ Import From File. PerfCalc will import data related to the selected account. If you like, when you have finished importing data, click the 'Sort' icon so all entries will appear in the Data Entry Window by date. If you don't sort, your analysis calculations will not be affected; however, data will appear as entered rather than by date when the Portfolio Performance Summary is printed. After data is imported into the selected account, click on 'Save' to save imported data.
Note: Import Entries @ individual accounts requires 3 Excel columns as explained below.
Bulk Excel Import Import a single Text (tab delimited)(*.txt) file that contains data for many/all accounts from Excel to PerfCalc and to distribute all data by account number, go to Setup.
Select Import Data.
Read the instructions in the Bulk Transaction Import Window below for Excel file format instructions.
Note: Bulk Transaction Import requires 4 Excel columns as explained below.
At Bulk Transaction Import, Excel imported accounts are 'Auto-Saved.' Windows Notepad
To import data from Windows Notepad, enter header titles and data with tab between columns as shown above for data import to an individual account. To import selected or global account portfolios, add 'Account Number' as the first header title and import @ Setup/Bulk Transaction Import. Data may be entered in any date sequence as long as the column headers are in the correct order. |
