PerfCalc Story in an Instant.jpg:
Individual Portfolio Performance Report

Load is used for three reasons:

  • To select accounts to open and to add, duplicate (with or without data), and delete accounts.
  • To set new analysis ranges for existing accounts @ Recalc rather than having to go back to individual accounts to reset analysis ranges.
  • To select accounts to be used in the Portfolio Performance — Combined Summary report.

    Click on Load.

Add Account (+), Delete Account (-)

When you click on the '+' icon as shown in the above illustration, the new account title will open as New Portfolio.

A new title and account number must be entered.

If, by chance you add an account number and do not change the title, when you save and then try to add another new account, PerfCalc will revert to the prior new account that still has a title of New Portfolio.

    Duplicate an Account

Keep in mind that an existing account can be duplicated so as to save and show data for different selected time periods; quarterly or annually for example:

    • Description, Bill & Mary Smith 1st Qtr., 2009.
    • If title is longer than entry field, the account will not save.
    • @ Load highlight the account to be duplicated and click on Duplicate (D) while holding down the Control key to include data.
    • Modify description to Bill & Mary Smith 2nd Qtr., 2009 etc.
    • Delete all entries except for the last 1st Quarter market value entry in the duplicate 2nd Quarter file and continue with 2nd quarter entries.

    Global ‘Recalc’ @ Load

    Detailed @ Recalc Concept.

Recalc is an analysis range calculation shortcut:

There are three basic combined report situations:

    • Global accounts have different selected and saved Market Value analysis ranges.
    • Global accounts with common Market Value analysis range entries.
    • Accounts with the same Market Value analysis range entries and individual accounts with different selected and saved dated Market Value entries.
