PerfCalc Story in an Instant.jpg:
Individual Portfolio Performance Report

PerfCalc offers three portfolio performance calculation methodologies:

  • Modified Dietz
    • Select an analysis range, the Modified Dietz tab, and Save.
  • TWRR/Geometric Linking Large Cash Flows
    • Market Value entries on the dates prior to large cash flows (in my opinion > 5% of the total value of the portfolio); Investor Contributions and Investor Withdrawals.
    • Select an analysis range, the TWRR/Geometric Linking tab, check the Large Cash Flows box, and Save.
  • TWRR/Geometric Linking Daily Valuation
    • Market Value entries on the dates of all cash flows; Investor Contributions and Investor Withdrawals.
    • Select an analysis range, the TWRR/Geometric Linking tab, and Save.

The selected calculation methodology will appear as a footnote @ the bottom of individual and trends analysis reports.

As the combined report @ Load can be composed of selected or global portfolios each with their own saved performance calculation methodology, there is not calculation methodology footnote on the report.
